Kanchanjunga Trek - Goechala is also known as Kanchanjunga Trek, Trek to Dzongri, Trek to Goechala, Trek from Yuksom to Goechala. This is One of the most popular trekking route in West Sikkim region, it offers almost everything making it a trekkers delight. Sunrise view over Kanchendzonga range from Tiger Hills, Dzongri Top and Goechala is most popular among the tourist. Trek through bamboo bushes and rhododendron forest make it very beautifull. Enchanting panoramic view of some of the highest mountain peak of world like Kanchendzonga ,Pandim etc. Places to viist during tour are Kolkata, Bagdogra, Darjeeling, Pemayangtse, Yuksum, Bakhim, Tsoka, Dzongri, Thangsing, Simiti Lake, Gochala, Lamune, Thangsing, Kokuchurung, Tshoka, Yuksom, Gangtok, Bagdogra.


Trip Itinerary:

  Day 01 Arrive Kolkata
Arrive at Kolkata airport and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight at hotel.
  Day 02 Kolkata – Bagdogra – Darjeeling
Flight to Bagdogra. Arrive and transfer to Darjeeling (90 Km) Rest of the day for acclimatization. Overnight at Hotel.
  Day 03 Darjeeling
Early morning proceed for excursion to Tiger Hill to witness the sun rise over Mt. Kanchendzonga. Return to Darjeeling visiting Ghoom Monastery enroute. Enjoy Toy Train ride Afternoon visit Darjeeling city. Overnight at hotel.
  Day 04 Darjeeling – Pemayangtse – Yuksum
Drive to Pemayangtse and visit the Monastery. Later drive to Yuksum (1780 m) – The oldest capital of Sikkim. Yuksum is the base for Dzongri Trek. Overnight at hotel / camp.
  Day 05 Yaksum - Bakhim
Trek to Bakhim through the Bamboo bushes. Overnight in tents.
  Day 06 Bakhim – Tsoka – Dzongri
Trek to Dzongri (4030 m).Overnight at trekkers huts / tents.
  Day 07 Dzongri – Thansing
Trek to Thansing (3800 m) with views of Mt. Kanchenjunga and Mt Pandim. Overnight at trekkers huts / tents.
  Day 08 Thansing – Lamuney
Short trek to Lamuney and visit the Base Camp of Mt. Pendim. Overnight in tents.
  Day 09 Excursion to Gochala and Samiti Lake
Early morning excursion to Gochal for a sunrise view of Kanchandjonga peak. Later trek down to Samiti Lake (4200 m) and return to Lamuney.
  Day 10 Lamuney – Thansing – Kokchurong
Return trek toKokchurong. Overnight in tents.
  Day 11 Kokchurong – Tsoka
Trek to Tsoka (3710 m).Overnight in tents.
  Day 12 Tsoka - Yuksum
Return trek to Yuksum via Bakhim, Overnight in huts / tents.
  Day 13 Yuksum – Gangtok
Drive to Gangtok - The present day capital of Sikkim.Overnight at hotel.
  Day 14 Gangtok
Morning excursion to Rumtek Monastery.Afternoon sightseeing of Gangtok.to visit Tibetology Research Institute, Orchid Sanctuary, Do-drulChorten and Enchhey Monastery.Overnight at hotel.
  Day 15 Gangtok – Bagdogra – Kolkata
Transfer to the Bagdogra airport for flight to Kolkata. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon free at leisure.
  Day 16 Departure
City tour of Kolkata. Later transfer to the airport for return flight.
