Trip Itinerary:

  Day 01 Arrive Chennai
Arrive Chennai and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight at hotel.
 
  Day 02 Chennai – Mahabalipuram
Morning city tour of Chennai including the Fort St. George, Marina Beach, Santhome Cathedral etc. Later drive to Mahabalipuram via Kanchipuram - One of the seven sacred cities of India. Arrive and transfer to the hotel for overnight.
 
  Day 03 Mahabalipuram – Chennai – Madurai (overnight train)    
City tour to include Arjun’s Penance and Shore Temple. Later drive to Chennai to board an overnight train to Madurai.
 
  Day 04 Madurai    
Arrive Madurai early morning and transfer to the hotel. Later city tour including the great Meenakshi Temple, TirumalaNayak Palace, Alagar Hills and TiruparaKundran Rock Temple.
Evening at Leisure and overnight at hotel.
 
  Day 05 Madurai – Periyar
Drive to  Thekkady (Periyar) - tiger reserve is an example of nature’s bounty with great scenic attraction and rich bio-diversity. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon enjoy boat ride at the Periyar lake to view the wild life activities of Periyar sanctuary famous for wild elephant and other wild animals. Overnight at hotel.
 
  Day 06 Periyar - Alleppey
Enjoy a morning walk through the spice plantation. Later drive to Alleppey. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Evening free at leisure to explore the beach and local market. Overnight at hotel.
 
  Day 07 Alleppey
Transfer to the houseboat. The cruise is the best way to explore the beauty of backwaters. Afternoon free for independent  activities on the House Boat. Overnight stay in the House Boat
 
  Day 08 Alleppey – Cochin
Drive to Cochin - A natural harbor formed by the famous underwater Malabar mud-banks. Arrive and transfer to the hotel.
Evening enjoy Katthakali cultural dance performance at nearby theater. Overnight at hotel.
 
  Day 09 Cochin – Departure
City tour of Cochin to include Jewish Synagogue, Portuguese Churches and the Chinese fishing nets. Later transfer to the airport for return flight.
